PROGRAM OVERVIEW
PELVIC FLOOR SERIES
This is a 5-part series designed to educate & empower you about the pelvic floor. Upon completion you will learn different strategies and tools that will help improve the function and health of your pelvic floor. Some of these strategies and tools include a focused yoga practice, how to connect your pelvic floor & breath, how to connect your pelvic floor & core, and ways to relax & release the area.
SESSION STRUCTURE: This is a 5 part series with each session lasting 20-25min. Each session covers a different area of focus.
EQUIPMENT: Soft Mobility Ball, Small Towel, Yoga Block, Yoga Strap, Pillow (or larger pilates ball)

PELVIC FLOOR 101
Overview: In this lesson, you will learn all about the pelvic floor basics. This will include where it is, what it is, some common dysfunctions, and how you can better connect, contract & control the area.
Equipment: Mobility Ball, Small Towel
PELVIC FLOOR + BREATH
Find out if you are maximizing your breathing potential. This episode will discuss the importance of the pelvic floor’s role with breathing, how to improve your connection between the pelvic floor and your breathing strategies, and finally how to improve its overall function through guided stretching.
Equipment: Pillow (or larger pilates ball)
YOGA FOR THE PELVIC FLOOR
Overview: Follow along with coach Aedra as she guides you through a 25min yoga practice focused around the pelvis and the pelvic floor. She will continue to provide educational tips about the anatomy, how best to connect to the pelvic floor, and how to improve its performance while going through more dynamic movements.
Equipment: Yoga Block
PELVIC FLOOR & THE CORE
Overview: Now it is time to find out if you are maximizing your core strength potential. Coach Aedra will explain why a properly functioning pelvic floor is so important when it comes to core stability and strength. She will also discuss common bracing issues and strategies on how to improve these.
Equipment: Strap, Yoga Block
PELVIC FLOOR MOBILITY
Overview: Finish the series off by learning drills on how to release & relax the pelvic floor. These drills will help you maintain the pelvic floor tissue mobility, flexibility, and resiliency.
Equipment: Mobility Ball, Block, Pillow (or larger pilates ball)
